Privacy Policy — Busy Site Auto Opener

Last updated: [16/09/2026]

Overview

Busy Site Auto Opener (“the Extension”) is a Chrome extension that automatically retries a user-specified website URL until the page loads successfully, then notifies the user. This privacy policy explains what data the Extension does and does not handle.

Data We Do Not Collect

The Extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Specifically, it does not collect:

Data Stored Locally

The Extension stores the following settings on your device using Chrome’s chrome.storage API:

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to the developer. If you are signed into Chrome with sync enabled, Google may sync these settings across your own devices — this is controlled by Google, not by the Extension.

Page Content Access

To determine whether a page has loaded successfully, the Extension temporarily reads the visible text and title of the tab you have chosen to monitor. This happens only for the specific website domain you approve. The content is analyzed locally in your browser and is never sent to the developer or any third party.

Permissions Explained

Remote Code

The Extension does not use any remotely hosted code. All JavaScript is bundled inside the extension package.

Third Parties

The Extension does not integrate with any third-party services, advertising networks, or analytics providers.

Children’s Privacy

The Extension does not collect any data from any user, including children under 13.
